and former mayors, including two past presidents of the board of supervisors.

Menlo Park, CA, March 12, 2012 --
On Friday, Menlo Park Mayor Kirsten Keith filed candidate paperwork for San Mateo County Supervisor. In a little over a month, Mayor Keith has picked up key endorsements from over 20 current and former mayors, including Mary Griffin and Mike Nevin, both past presidents of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.

“I'm pleased to be a candidate for the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors,” said Keith. “With 16 years of relevant experience serving as a San Mateo County Commissioner, then on the Menlo Park Planning Commission and City Council, I am ready to take on the challenges facing our County."

Mayor Keith lives with her husband and two children in Menlo Park, just two miles from the Menlo Park home her grandparents purchased in the 1950's. Her children attend public schools in San Mateo County, as Mayor Keith and her mother did.
