About Kirsten Keith

In my professional career as an attorney, I've practiced immigration and family law, and I've spent the past twenty years defending indigent clients in criminal court. As a paid public servant, I currently serve as Mayor of Menlo Park and as a board member of the Bay Area Water Supply And Conservation Agency.

I have served on several appointed civic boards over the past twenty years, starting with the Commission on the Status of Women in 1996, appointed by the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, where I served for eight years with two years as chair.

I also serve on several local and state boards. I currently serve on the San Francisquito Creek Joint Powers Authority. I am a board members of the League of California Cities, where I also serve as the Chair of the Revenue and Taxation Committee.

I have served on several nonprofit boards and committees over the past twenty years, starting with the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County in 1997, where I continue to this day on the Fundraising Luncheon Committee.
I am on the board of the Service League of San Mateo County, where I also serve on the Finance Committee.
